Dec. 7th, 2009 03:45 pmHi I'm posting because I REALLY don't want to work on this paper.
So this past weekend, there was this thing called Christmas in Christ Chapel, and basically it was my orchestra (the symphony orchestra) and three choirs, plus the bell choir that performed... basically a three hour church service for Advent. It was ridiculous. Orchestra plays at like the beginning, one song in the middle, and at the end. Ridiculous, I tell you. RIDICULOUS. Not only were the rehearsals incredibly time consuming, but we had to perform five times over the weekend. FIVE TIMES. That's like 19 hours of sitting in a church absolutely bored, occasionally playing something here and there but that's about it. I got absolutely nothing done school-work wise because it was so time consuming. Like I said, ridiculous. A lot of the people that went were like oh it was such a nice performance! and I'm like yeah well not if you sit there through every single one. :|
And we've started to learn about hydrolosis...? I think? Or something. In geology. Like the water cycle and rivers and lakes and glaciers and how water affects the landscape and blah blah blah. Like halfway through the first lecture we had on it, I started to feel nauseous. Not such a great thing. Like working on the flooding data for this area almost felt like it was physically painful to do. I hate this unit a lot but ironically I've been getting the best grades doing this work so far than any other. My friend who takes geology with me is like you should be a hydrologist! And I'm like no... thank you :(
And, thanks
eclairvoyant for the pretty snowflake :D
Anyway I should start writing, because I might fall asleep
