It was blizzard...ing on the way up and it is yet again on the way down!
Anyway. Traveling in this trip was awful. I went up to MN for the weekend to visit Gustavus and I swear to god. This did not help my hate for planes at all, it just made it worse. Thursday morning our flight was supposed to take off at like 11:20 or so... but it got delayed like 35 minutes or something. Not even that time period had passed and it was canceled. Wtf? My dad and I had to re-book for 4:30 so I spent like, five hours playing Rebirth... NEEDLESS TO SAY I GOT REALLY FAR but playing Rebirth and the derp of Tytree is not the point of this story
We finally got to Philly so we could transfer to Minneapolis. We were supposed to depart at 7:30 or something like that but, of course it got delayed an hour... then two hours... then two and a half hours and we didn't take off til 10. :| We finally got to Minneapolis at like 1 and UGH.
But Gustavus itself was really good. :D All the faculty/staff was really personal and very helpful and nice, and almost all the students were nice too and the food was really good (they're in like the top 10 for best cafeteria food. IT WAS AWESOME). Of course it was like 5 degrees but it didn't feel all that cold, or didn't bother me really.
My audition went well and the people judging me said I did a very good job. YAY. Also the lady in charge of study abroad said that she would definitely help me all she could to get me back to Nagoya again. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT
Anyway. On the way home the flight from Minneapolis to Philly went without any problems. However... Philly to BWI ended up being canceled WTH? The next flight out ended up being on TUESDAY and obviously we weren't going to sit around an airport for two days. So in a rush we headed out to Amtrak and took the train down to BWI... took about the same time had the flight been on time. :/
BUT MY LUGGAGE IS STILL NOT HERE. This includes my new clothes (THAT I GOT FROM THE GAP AT MALL OF AMERICA SHIT GUYS THAT PLACE IS AWESOME), my normal clothes, my nice shoes, all my toiletries (my tooth brush...), APPA...., my brush, the PSP charger, my phone charger, my ipod charger... Luckily though it'll be delivered to the house sometime tomorrow. Hopefully, what with this snow there's no telling.
And there was an essay thing that Casey assigned us on Thursday when obviously I was not in school and when I actually got a chance to use the compy Saturday night... it wasn't on blackboard so I emailed her and I got the assignment just now. x_x Needless to say I am EXHAUSTED and on the verge of chrashing. I hate traveling...
Anyway. I definitely need to find a job by the time Japanese class is finished. I need money.
Speaking of money, I don't know if I'm going to have enough money for Yukiko after Judith x_x I'm definitely putting my 100% into her and 100% means lots of money so... :< I'LL SEE GUYS. Also Otakon I have a surprise for you all ♥ It will be epic.
